Abstract:

Intelligent agents are considered as significant means towards realizing the semantic web vision. On the Semantic Web, integrating ontologies and rules enables software agents to interoperate between them, however, this leads to a problem, that no studies have focused on effective distributed reasoning for integrating ontologies and rules in multiple knowledge-bases. The methods that have been presented for distributed reasoning not only get a lot of times and memory, but also do not lead to a complete and sound reasoning. In this paper, to solve this problem, we present a distributed reasoning system that deals with the representation of the knowledge-base of Order sorted logic. This logic is able to describe the hierarchy of predicates and inheritance of expressions that there are in our natural language. To have a distributed reasoning, our proposed method uses the expansion of rigid and valid-non-rigid properties between knowledge-bases. Furthermore, with considering time and the situation of properties for reasoning, the non-rigid properties have not been ignored, in fact, in their valid time and situation, they are used. With this method, we achieve a complete reasoning and, moreover, the extracted knowledge is completely considered in the knowledge-bases and we have a distributed reasoning with high efficiency and sound without missing any information.

Abstract:

In this article, an attempt has been made to estimate the amount of sound transmission loss in a flat oval channel by applying the approach of statistical energy analysis. Correct estimation of sound transmission loss in an air conditioning channel is of great importance due to the harmful effects of noise pollution in the environment on human health. Simulation with the statistical energy analysis method is a powerful approach to estimate sound and vibration in problems in which we deal with complex and multi-part systems; is considered. In this method, first, a system is divided into several subsystems, and then by writing a matrix equation that includes the energy exchanges between subsystems and energy loss coefficients; It is investigated from the perspective of vibration and sound estimation. On average, the model presented in this research is able to estimate the sound transmission loss in different dimensions of the air conditioning channels according to the experimental results in the accuracy range of ± 2.5 dB. Considering that it seems that the results obtained from modeling with this method are in good agreement with the experimental data; The results of this research can be used as an efficient approach to estimate noise in oval shaped channels stretched in different lengths.

Abstract:

This study aimed to estimate the genetic parameters of body weight traits in Markhoz goats, using B-spline random regression models. The data used in this study included 19549 records collected during 29 years (1992-2021) in Markhoz goat Breeding Research Station, located in Sanandaj, Iran. The model used to analyze data included fixed effects (year of birth, sex, type of birth and age of dam) and random effects including direct additive genetic, maternal additive genetic, permanent environmental and maternal permanent environmental assuming homogeneous and heterogeneous residual variance during the time. Akaike (BIC) and Bayesian (BIC) information criteria were used to compare the models and bspq.4.4.4.4 was selected as the best model. The direct heritability values for birth, 3-month, 6-month, 9-month and 12-month weights were estimated to be 0.14, 0.16, 0.08, 0.28 and 0.26, respectively. Genetic correlation between body weights at birth and 3-month, birth and 6-month, birth and 9-month, birth and 12-month, 3-month and 6-month, 3-month and 9-month, 3-month and 12-month, 6-months and 9-month and 9-month and 12-month were 0.22, 0.38, 0.21, 0.56, -0.26, 0.30, 0.62, 0.86 and 0.77, respectively. The highest phenotypic correlation was between the weight of 9-month and 12-month (0.82) and the lowest correlation was between birth weight and 3-month and 6-month (0.12). The results showed that the 9-month weight is a good criterion for selection in Markhoz goats.

Abstract:

In this paper, a functional model, which is identified based on flight test data sets, is used to improve the performance of guidance loop of a commercial quadrotor equipped with a low-cost autopilot and navigation system. For this purpose, relationships between horizontal velocities and the quadrotor attitudes around the horizontal axes and relationships between three quadrotor attitudes with the correspondent commands sent to the autopilot are identified independently. The first model describes the relation between rotation around the axes of the quadrotor with declared commands in the autopilot system and the other describes the relation between horizontal velocities with the angle around the longitudinal and latitudinal axes of the quadrotor. According to the experimental test results, a first Order transfer function has enough accuracy to describe the rotation around the vertical axis with related commands. Also, the description of the relation between the horizontal velocities and the autopilot commands has suitable accuracy using two consequent first Order transfer functions; one model between the applied commands and changes of roll and pitch angles, and the other between roll and pitch angles and the horizontal velocities. Due to the linear time invariant characteristics of the system, the least square estimator is used to estimate unknown parameters of the models. To evaluate the identified models, the performance of the path tracking using a PID controller as the outer controller is investigated. The results of the indoor tests show significant improvements in path tracking that confirms enough accuracy of the identified models.

Abstract:

In this paper, estimation of second Order polynomial systems’ domain of attraction (DA) via rational Lyapunov function is investigated. One of the methods for estimating DA is to find the greatest level set. In this study, in Order to obtain the greatest level set, cost function based on increasing the region enclosed to the level set has been offered instead of using shape factor.Estimating DA has been converted into solving bilinear matrix inequality optimization problem.Capacity of this method compared to other methods in recent studies has been shown through some examples.

Abstract:

In this paper, we discuss the two-stage and the modified two-stage procedures for the estimation of the threshold autoregressive parameter in a first-Order threshold autoregressive model (${\rm TAR(1)}$). This is motivated by the problem of finding a final sample size when the sample size is unknown in advance. For this purpose, a two-stage stopping variable and a class of modified two-stage stopping variables are proposed. Afterward, we {prove} the significant properties of the procedures, including asymptotic efficiency and asymptotic risk efficiency for the point estimation based on least-squares estimators. To illustrate this theory, comprehensive Monte Carlo simulation studies is conducted to observe the significant properties of the procedures. Furthermore, the performance of procedures based on Yule-Walker estimators is investigated and the results are compared in practice that confirm our theoretical results. Finally, real-time-series data is studied to demonstrate the application of the procedures.

Abstract:

Despite the growing trend in the petrochemical industry in the country, the industry has faced challenges and accomplishments. One of the most important challenges in the petrochemical industry is energy management in the refinery. Fajr Jam refinery is designed to refine part of sour gas produced from Phase 6 of South Pars gas field in Iran and the nominal capacity of gas refining at this site, to determine the factors affecting energy consumption in the ophthalmic furnaces, 104 and 109 kilns were selected and the following were monitored scientifically: monitoring of furnace wall temperature with thermography, furnace feed analysis, steak gas analysis and energy efficiency of furnaces. The results of this study showed that in the furnace 104, the design efficiency and real efficiency was 92. 98 and 84. 67, respectively and for the furnace 109, the design efficiency and real efficiency was 94. 98 and 71. 18, respectively. As a result, the amount of energy loss is high and should save energy consumption in these furnaces and improve efficiency; replacement of refractory refractories is also a replacement of insulation.
